The Enumerator role is primarily field-based in Kyiv and supports the collection of high-quality primary data as part of the organization’s MEAL function. The position contributes to data collection activities, provides technical support to programme teams, and reports to the MEAL Manager, with a strong focus on market assessment and cash-related data to inform humanitarian programming, particularly emergency livelihood interventions.The role involves direct engagement with households and key informants, using approved data collection tools and adhering to humanitarian principles and ethical data collection standards.
Ülesanded:
- Conduct household surveys, and key informant interviews related to market functionality, prices, availability of goods.
- Support data collection for market assessments, cash feasibility assessments, rapid market assessments.
- Accurately record data using digital tools (ERC digital platform) or paper questionnaires.
- Ensure ethical data collection in line with humanitarian principles, confidentiality, and informed consent.
- Check data for completeness and accuracy and submit on time.
- Report daily progress and field observations to the MEAL Manager.
- Participate in required training and briefings.
Kandidaadilt eeldame:
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g. humanitarian studies, project management, social sciences). A Master's Degree would be an asset.
- Two years of MEAL work experience - preferably in humanitarian context, social work, community development, NGOs or civil society.
- Experience of conducting various types of surveys.
- Experience in use of data collection and data analysis tools will be an asset.
- Software skills (Excel, PPT, Google sheets/forms, etc).
- You demonstrate organizational skills as well as abilities to analyze and synthesis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in Ukrainian language and professional working proficiency in English are required.
